Anthony Lucas (DT) runs a drill during football practice, September 28, 2020, at Chaparral High School, Scottsdale, Arizona.

Anthony Lucas, DL, Jr.: He's a man-child, who is rated by The Arizona Republic as the No. 2 prospect in the state in the 2022 class. He is a four-star in the 247Sports Composite list. A 6-foot-5, 285 pounds, he is a freak athlete who also excels in baseball and basketball. His 20 major college offers includes nine Pac-12 schools, Auburn, Notre Dame, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Texas, Florida State, Michigan, Nebraska, Texas A&M, Iowa State, Nebraska. He may be seen more this year on offense at tackle, but he mostly will be moving along the defensive front, making plays.

Brayten Silbor, QB, Jr.: Extremely underrated. No offers. But he'll get plenty after this season if not during the first four games. He's a lot like former Desert Mountain QB Kedon Slovis. Poised. Nothing rattles him. Will take shots down field with big throws.

Jared Williams, RB, Sr.: Maybe the state's most underrated running back, he has added size, power and speed this season. He'll break tackles at the line of scrimmage and make people miss.

Jack Whitten, DB, Sr.: A cornerback, he has committed to playing at Ivy League Brown. Great instincts, and will hit.

Mason Osborn, OL, Sr.: At 6-5, 305 pounds, he is ready to break out big this season. He should have several Division I offers by season's end. Great feet and balance.

Max Minor, WR, Sr.: He is a 3-star recruit by 247Sports. He is 6-4, 190, great length. Needs a big season to convince colleges he can play Division I football.

Lukas Garvey, TE, Jr.: He is 6-4, 230 and just scratching the surface. Watch for big things from him that will generate offers. Good hands. Will make tough catches in traffic.
